Connecticut Has Beautiful Weddings.
But Not Enough Artists for Us.
If you're a Black bride in Connecticut - whether you're planning a wedding in New Haven, Fairfield County, Hartford, or Greenwich — you've probably already noticed: finding a makeup artist who actually specializes in deeper skin tones is frustrating.
Most local artists are generalists. They'll do their best, but "their best" isn't always what your skin needs. You end up with ashy undertones, photo flashbacks, or foundation that doesn't match. On your wedding day. That's not okay.
"I believe every bride deserves to see herself at her most radiant on her wedding day - and that starts with an artist who truly knows how to work with your skin."

FAQ
Questions Connecticut Brides Ask
Do you travel to Connecticut for weddings?
Yes! I'm based in New Jersey and regularly travel to Connecticut for weddings and events. An out of state fee applies and will be clearly outlined in your custom proposal.
What areas of Connecticut do you serve?
I'm available throughout Connecticut, including Fairfield County (Greenwich, Stamford, Westport, Darien), New Haven, Hartford, Mystic, and surrounding areas. If you're not sure about your location, just reach out — I'm happy to confirm availability.
Do you specialize in darker skin tones?
Absolutely — it's my specialty, not an afterthought. With 10+ years of experience, I'm trained in color-matching, foundation layering, and techniques specifically for deep and melanin-rich skin. Your skin will look luminous, not flat or ashy.
Can you do makeup for my bridal party too?
Yes! My bridal package includes the bride plus up to 3 attendants at a flat rate — no per-person fees. Additional services can be added depending on availability and group size, whereby I will bring my assistant.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier, the better — especially for peak wedding season (May–October). I'd recommend reaching out at least 6–9 months before your date to secure your spot.
